My personal interests outside of my research and teaching responsibilities consist almost exclusively of my family, my religion, and a few sundry hobbies.

On Dec. 26, 1998 I married Holly Stevens in the Logan LDS Temple.  Since then we have welcomed four girls into our family, Melissa (June 2000), Amanda (Aug. 2002), Maren (Apr. 2004), and Megan (Nov. 2006).  I have one brother and three sisters, while Holly has two sisters and eight brothers.
